Are you bleeding heavily or showing sign of shock?

Signs of shock: A racing pulse, dizziness, fainting, or pale, clammy skin. If Yes..?, then Call 911

Is the cramping pain severe and do you still feel it after several minutes of rest? If Yes ? Call your doctor

Do you have any of the following symptoms?

  • Spotting or bleeding
  • Fever or Chills
  • Pain that gets worse during physical exertion.

If yes..? Consult your doctor immediately

Do you have more than one of the following symptoms?

  • Unusual discharge
  • Pain in your upper abdomen
  • Pain in your shoulder
  • Discomfort when peeing
  • Nausea or Vomiting
  • Lightheadedness
  • Abdominal or Pelvic discomfort
  • Lower back Pain
  • Headache

Do you have any signs of labor?

Signs of labor

If yes..? Call your doctor immediately

  • Contractions at regular intervals
  • More than 6 contractions an hour
  • Cramping accompained by lower back pain
  • A rush or trickle of watery fluid from your vagina

If no..? Sounds like your cramping wasn't severe or accompanied by worrisome symptoms. This is normal. If you're still concerned, call your doctor.
