PREGNANCY DIET CHART 2500 KCAL

This is a sample pregnancy diet chart for women requiring 2500 kcal and includes the extra 500 calories required in the second and third trimester.

Breakfast & Mid Morning

Early morning - Milk (150 ml) + 5 almonds /1 walnut
For Breakfast-
• Dalia -1 katori /poha or upma with vegetables /2 wheat bread slices with vegetables and hung curd dressing/ 2 rotis with vegetables / wheat flakes/oats
• Milk (250 ml) /curd (1 katori) +1 Egg / Paneer (50 gms)
Mid morning - Medium sized Fruits (2)

LUNCH

Try to plan healthy lunches, here are a few great ideas packed with nutrients needed during pregnancy.
• Salad - 1 medium plate
• Dal - 1 katori
• Vegetables -1 katori
• Curd/veg - raita -1 katori
• Medium sized Roti - 3

EVENING SNACK

• Milk - 1 glass (250 ml)
• Bhunna channa -1 small katori /1 besan chilla boiled egg / sprouts - 1 katori
Late Evening - 2 Fruits

DINNER

• Salad - 1 medium plate
• Vegetables - 1 katori
• Dal (sabut/whole) -1 katori + curd(1 katori)
• Roti - 3 medium sized
• Curd (dahi) - 1 katori
Bed time - Dessert -1 katori (milk based with fruit) /1 cup milk (150 ml) + 1 fruit
